Saudi Arabia has announced new visa rules that will make it easier for visitors to enter the country. These new rules will benefit a wide range of individuals, including those with valid tourist or commercial visas from the US, UK, or any Schengen country. In addition, individuals with permanent residency in the US, UK, or EU countries, as well as those with valid GCC residency visas for at least three months, will also be eligible for the new visa rules.
Furthermore, investors licensed by the Ministry of Investment in Saudi Arabia will also benefit from the new rules. Under the new regulations, these investors will be entitled to three instant visas per year for each facility they have.
The new rules were announced by the Saudi Press Agency, which quoted the Ministry of Investment for Integrated Investor Services Undersecretary Mohammed Abahussain as saying, “The process will take place without any need to consult with the Kingdom’s representative offices abroad to obtain biometrics. The visa can be used for one year and allows multiple entries. Some people can obtain the visa immediately to visit the Kingdom and learn about investment opportunities.”
The Foreign Ministry has also expressed support for the new visa rules and believes that they will help achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. This includes increasing the number of visitors by issuing e-visas for all purposes, including the business visit visa, which is granted to investors and businessmen from all over the world. This move is seen as a positive step towards making Saudi Arabia more accessible to visitors and investors alike.
