New Bus Route Introduced to Global Village, Increasing Access to the Multicultural Park

Global Village, the popular entertainment and cultural destination in Dubai, has announced the addition of a new bus route to enhance accessibility for visitors. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has introduced Route 107, which will operate from Al Nahda Bus Station, joining the existing four routes from various locations.

This new bus route comes as Global Village opens its gates to the public for its latest edition, which promises to be even more spectacular than before. The highlight of this year’s attractions is a mesmerizing hourly fire and laser show performed atop the world’s largest underwater LED screen at the Dragon Lake. Visitors can also look forward to never-before-seen 3D projection shows featuring the iconic Dallah at the Gate of the World.

In addition to these stunning shows, Global Village is offering a range of new attractions and experiences. One of the notable additions is Mini World, a destination that celebrates cultures from around the world through miniature landmarks, street food offerings, new game and adventure zones, and a mini golf zone. With a packed schedule of 40,000 shows, Global Village promises to bring together beloved characters, concerts, street performances, and the all-new Cyber City Stunt Show – Powered by Surge.

To accommodate the expected increase in visitors, Global Village has expanded its entrances and exits, adding new lanes to ensure a smoother journey to and from the venue. The VIP parking zone has also been relocated to the Cultural Gate, providing more convenience for those who prefer to drive.

In addition to the new bus route and expanded facilities, Global Village has introduced changes to its ticket options. Visitors can choose between the “Value” ticket, which encourages weekday visits and is valid from Sunday to Thursday (excluding public holidays), or the “Any Day” ticket, offering flexibility for entry on any day, including public holidays. Those who purchase tickets through the mobile app or website will receive a 10% discount.

Global Village offers a unique opportunity to explore over 90 cultures through its 27 pavilions, 3,500 shopping outlets, and various dining options. Opening from Sunday to Wednesday from 4 pm to midnight, the destination extends its operating hours until 1 am from Thursday to Sunday. Tuesdays are exclusively reserved for ladies and families, with the exception of public holidays.

With an impressive record-breaking 9 million visitors last year, Global Village is expecting an even higher footfall in the current edition. The addition of the new bus route and other enhancements aim to ensure a memorable experience for all visitors to this multicultural extravaganza.
