Air Arabia Celebrates Growth and Expansion in Nine Months

Air Arabia has maintained a strong growth trajectory in the first nine months of the year, with expansion across its seven operational hubs and the addition of new routes. In a statement, Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohamed Al Thani, Chairman of Air Arabia, highlighted the carrier’s global network enhancements.

The increase in capacity was accompanied by a notable surge in passenger numbers, reaching a total of 12.4 million, marking a significant 36% increase compared to the same period last year.

In the three months through September 2023, net profit reached Dh522 million, representing a 26% increase over the previous year. Revenue also rose by 1% during the same period, totaling Dh1.63 billion.

Al Thani expressed cautious optimism, acknowledging the challenges presented by the current geopolitical and macroeconomic environment. However, he emphasized confidence in the airline’s business model, ability to continue driving growth, and commitment to delivering optimal value to customers.
