YouTuber Elvish Yadav has denied his alleged involvement in the supply of snake venom at a rave party in Noida. The denial comes after an FIR was filed against six individuals, including Elvish Yadav, for allegedly supplying the venom.
In a video posted on Instagram, Elvish Yadav claimed that the allegations against him are false. He stated, “I woke up and heard the news about my alleged arrest in the media. All these allegations against me are fake and without truth. They are not even 1 percent true. I am willing to cooperate with the UP Police. I request the UP Government and the UP CM Yogi Adityanath that even if there is a 0.1 percent involvement in this, then I am willing to take full responsibility. I request the media to not spread any misinformation till then. I have nothing to do with this.”
Earlier, the Uttar Pradesh forest department and Noida police conducted a joint raid at Sector 51 Saffron Villa in Noida and busted a gang for allegedly supplying snake venom at a rave party.
According to the Uttar Pradesh police, an FIR was registered against six people, including YouTuber and Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav, for making snake venom available at rave parties. They used to collect a hefty sum of money for supplying the venom. During the raid, nine snakes were also rescued.
Five individuals, namely Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan, and Ravinath, were arrested from the banquet hall during the police operation. Five cobras, a red snake, a python, and two other snakes were recovered from the party venue.
The FIR was filed based on a complaint by People For Animals. It stated that Elvish Yadav provided snake venom and live snakes in Noida, creating videos with other gang members/Youtubers in NCR farms. They organized illegal shoots and rave parties, where they invited foreign girls and consumed snake venom and intoxicants. Rahul, Elvish’s accomplice, acted as an agent on his behalf.
The FIR further mentioned that one of their informants contacted Elvish Yadav to organize the rave party and obtain cobra venom. Elvish provided the name of Rahul, who claimed to be able to procure the venom. Rahul then arrived at Sector 51 Banquet hall with the venom, where the Noida police, along with the DFO, apprehended the organizers.
The FIR has been filed under sections 9, 39, 48A, 49, 50, 51 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972, and section 120-B of the IPC.
Parmod Kumar, the District Forest Officer, stated, “The forest department, police, and PFA conducted a joint raid in which five people have been arrested, and snakes have been recovered.”
According to the police, the accused used to charge exorbitant amounts for supplying poison at parties. Between 20 and 25 ml of intoxicating poison was recovered from the accused.
