Bollywood actor Dalip Tahil has been sentenced to two months in jail for drunk driving in Mumbai, according to local media reports. The incident occurred in 2018 when Tahil rammed into an autorickshaw, injuring a 21-year-old woman. The autorickshaw was occupied by two people, who confronted the actor after the incident. Tahil attempted to flee the scene, resulting in a hit and run case. He was taken into custody by the police. Reports suggest that Tahil’s condition at the time of the accident played a role in the decision to sentence him. Medical evaluation showed that his pupils were dilated, his speech was incomprehensible, and he walked unsteadily. Tahil, who has acted in over 100 films, including popular movies like “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak” and “Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai,” has had a successful career in the industry.
